Biography

Adon Davie is one of the most promising motorcycle road racers to emerge from Scotland in recent years. Only seventeen, Adon has been hitting the headlines since he took to two wheels in 2012, amassing wins aplenty on his way to multiple Scottish championships.

2018 saw Adon selected for the British Talent Cup, a series designed and ran by DORNA, the organization who run both MotoGP and World Superbike, in addition to the FIM Junior World Championship. The series is designed to allow up and coming riders to showcase their talents at prominent events in the UK. Adon raced alongside the stars of British Superbike, MotoGP and World Superbike, achieving credible results on track whilst honing his off track skills through a variety of media opportunities.

After recovering from a broken collarbone that he sustained at the Valencian MotoGP, Adon switched to the British Junior Supersport Championship for the 2019 season. He also contested the Scottish Formula 400 series. Pole Position, two race wins and a new lap record in the opening round of the British championship saw Adon immediately on the radar of well known paddock personalities, including respected team owners and journalists. Further wins in the British Championship would come later in the season along with the Formula 400 title!

Front running once again in 2020, Adon was a title contender in 2021, stringing together a run of podium finishes that ultimately saw him end the year third overall.

2022 saw Adon remain within the prestigious BSB (British Superbike Championship) paddock. Switching category, he lined up on the Ducati Tri-options grid aboard a Ducati Panigale V2 959cc machine. Despite the change in machine, (the V2 Panigale is heavier and much faster), Adon shone once again. A regular top six finisher, he became a podium contender by mid-season, taking an impressive third position at Cadwell Park on his first ever visit to the circuit. He also contested the Scottish Superbike series where, despite a 50hp deficit, he managed eight consecutive SBK Clubman wins.

Looking ahead, Adon will move into the British Supersport Championship in 2023 with JDF Racing. Once again Ducati mounted his eyes remain firmly fixed on his end goal – the British Superbike Championship, and then World Superbike.
