Adon Davie is delighted to announced that he will step up to the British Supersport Championship in 2023. Continuing to ride for the JDF Racing team, the #38 will once again do battle on Ducati machinery in the series that supports the prestigious British Superbike (BSB) series. He will contest the new look Supersport Cup, a new initiative where the rider competes in eight rounds of their choosing.

Adon, who in recent years progressed through the British Talent Cup before Front running in the British Junior Supersport championship, was one of the stars of the Ducati Tri-Options series in 2022. Ultimately finishing fifth overall he took a maiden podium at Cadwell Park before destroying the opposition in the final round of the series, taking the win at Brands Hatch by almost twenty seconds!

He will be one to watch when the championship gets underway in April. Until then the Scottish teenager is fully focused on his fitness and is excited to begin testing in a few weeks.

Adon Davie:

“I am really looking forward to stepping up to the Supersport Cup in 2023 with JDF Racing. With the Ducati Tri-Options series being cancelled at the end of last year I have kind of been forced to move up earlier than planned so the aim this year is to continue to learn and develop my riding. I will be entered in the Supersport Cup so won’t do all of the rounds but I will still be on track with all of the riders in British Supersport so there’s going to be so much to learn from the former British Champions and world championship riders. I am delighted to be remaining with JDF Racing – without them I wouldn’t even be at BSB. They are like my second family and I can’t thank them enough for their continued support. The atmosphere in the team is great and they do everything they can off track which helps me when I’m on track. This was certainly the case at Brands Hatch last year where I was able to win by seventeen seconds. The mandatory move to slicks will be interesting for me. I am keen to see how they feel but it’s put a squeeze on an already tight budget. The one cool thing is that you get to pick the eight rounds you contest within the Supersport Cup, so it’s certainly going to add a new dynamic as not everyone will race at the same rounds.”
